It seems like everytime I ride, the parking brake has to be adjusted to hold. Does anyone know why it gets loose? I loosen the two nuts and adjust it to where it works great and tighten the nuts back to each other. And it will work great for that day and maybe another one, but then the next time it's not holding again. I know a lot of ya'll just take them off, but mine has came in handy several times and would rather keep it.

Thanks, but I'd rather keep adjusting it than to do away with it altogether. The more I adjust it, the faster I do it...lol

If I never used it, I would take it off in a heartbeat.

I wouldnt trust that parking break to hold my quad in place anywhere... Just rip it off! COME ON YOU KNOW YOU WANNA! lol

I think it needs adjusted constantly because of the brake pads wearing out. Every time a little more gets worn off of the pads it needs adjusted again. That was the main reason I got rid of mine, when I would adjust it it would be loose again in another week, plus it got in the way of my hitch. I think if you really want to keep the brake you're just gonna have to deal with frequently adjusting it.

I haven't had break pads in months :-/... Ahhh the luxury of modern innovations; what are these "break pads" you speak of?

There not really that important. they are mostly for looks. If I were you i'd leave the pads off, it looks cool at night when the rotor is glowing cherry red and throwing sparks.

Rip it off, set it on fire, blow it up, burn the pieces again, piss on it, and make your dog take a healthy **** on it. That piece of **** doesn't deserve to be on a quad.

Apparently Box has childhood emotional scars from the parking break.

Yes, I am indeed very scarred. I think I'm going to go hug my block off plate and clutch lever now... :'(
