i just got a hmf slip on for my warrior and i was wonderin what are some other good upgrades that arent too expensive

clamp on filter kit, removed airbox lid, and a rejet would be my next step. After that you need to take your riding style into consideration. Do you need more power, better handling, better traction, more ruggedness, etc.

cheapest thing to do is take lid off/ rejet. second drill 6-9 one inch holes and cover it from the bottom with pantyhoes. third, buy and outerwears for the k&n- they look great and seem to work good, plus there only like 12 bucks. after that you could do a fmf hi-flow or powerbomb header for 150 or under. wiseco or je piston would do you some good for under 125 bucks.
another cheap as hell option is to regear for you riding style. drop you front sprocket for lowend, or raise it for top. its all up to how you ride the bike.

where do you ride/ where from in jersey? i ride in layfayette at the pits, wayne behind a storage place, and down in forked river in the sand

warriorxcr1 where in wayne do you ride cuz im from around there and is a new header really worth buying cuz i heard that they arent really that much better than stock

they aernt that much of an improvement over your stock header... instead of the header ket the proflow clamp on air fliter kit. and just take the lid off your air box and rejet...

yea the header really does make the bike feel smoother especially when jetted correctly. it was a good investement for the long run. bike feels freer powerwise. i thought you allready have a pro- flow kit?

ahhh in wayne i rode by the storage place on rt 23- right after the dodge dealer i get off and loop around to the other side. The road that takes you there is actually right above the highway. Its by the train tracks and a trailer park. theres a few doubles and some little kickers. decent amount of trails too.

hahahahaha. yea fun place to ride. when u getting pics of your bike steve?

i was always told the fmf header usthat much of an improvement unless you had quite a few mods. oh and my bad didnt read your sig with the k@n clamp on kit

i might have to check out that place in wayne one day and thanx for the advice

you are exactly right ;)...after you put a aftermarket header on, you feel the diference and it used to feel like something was holding you quad back (powerwise)
