The gyt-r jet kit suggest a 165 main jet with no lid and a pipe at 68 degrees and sea level. With my HMF and GYT-R filter this was a bit rich, I ended up with dropping the needle clip by 1, a 160 main jet and stepping up the pilot jet to a 25. I may be a bit rich still, but it runs really well and that way I will not have to rejet in the winter.

Be safe on ur deployment. My twin nephews, one of which is my Godchild, are getting ready to deploy in the Marines.
Praying for you all.

thanks for the advise. I live in Florida and my house is about 1 mile off the water. How often do you clean your filter when your running with no lid. You think I will notice the difference with the exhaust and jet change? Deployment always suck especially when I'm going to be away from my wife and kids for that long.

I am at approximately 1000 feet above sea level, so I bet yours will be closer to the suggested settings. You will notice a huge difference with the HMF and K&N with jetting. I did some radar to see the gains with just the HMF and posted them, here is the link to that. http://yfm350.proboards31.com/index.cgi?board=general&action=display&thread=1150048550

I have since put on the GYT-R filter and rejeted and in my opinion the filter and jetting has resulted in a greater increase in power than the pipe did. I have not checked it on radar yet, but just riding it I can now pull up a wheelie by just blipping the throttle with a lean, where before I had to pop the clutch or hit a small bump.
