porting $$$$ ????

I was wondering how does a porting job cost and how much hp it will makes.....and does it worth the money along with my others mods (wiseco +1mm 10,25:1,hotcam stage 1,kehin 38mm carb, big gun complete exhaust) ?????

Def worth the money, FST about $175. Ship it out.

I live in Quebec,Canada......i will ship it to a well known local shop, it's about 200$ i think, some of my friends send their 400ex there........wath kind of power increase should i expect ???

Make def sure he knows what he's doing, other wize it'll flow worse then stock. First of all, ask if he has a flow bench, if he don't, then don't have him do it. Mickey Dunlap of Four Stroke Tech ports and flows and flowbench tests every head to make sure you flowing better then before. If done right you could expect about 5 HP. Just my opinion.

Go with what Dave said. But don't expect 5 hp out of porting a stock motor. But if you have a 446 like him you definately won't see the full potential without a good port job.

Yes he have a flowbench i've talked with his son yesterday....it will cost me 150$
