Pro Taper Oversize bar pad?

hey yall. well i just got a set of pro taper contour oversize bars today and put them on the warrior along with my thumb throttle i got in monday. anyway, i was trying to get the bar pad on and the ****** thing is a bitch! i just cant seem to get the wrap thing that goes around the pad to hold it on to fit right. having some problems velcroing it down. anyone have this problem with oversize bar pads? if so, how did you fix it? thanks

Mine fit o.k.
I think maybe you should check out your mounts,I have the same ones and under the pad there is a recess to fit the mounts perfectly.Here is mine(bars are the cr-hi bend)so its just like yours.

yeah the whole recess thing in the back of the pad doesnt fit on there very well. i might have just been getting tired because it was getting late, i was bending over my quad for a long time working on it (and the carb), and i was getting rushed to finish. it looks like you put the cover thing on the pad the other way that i was trying to get it. i might try that. might work. who knows. im planning on getting a blue pad to go with the bike so maybe ill have better luck with it.
