Quad Boggs out and dies

Ok guys so here's. My problem riding throttle wide open in say 2nd or 3rd gear pull in clutch slow down drop into first the quad likes to stall out. I cleaned and rebuilt carb and cleaned the petcock in the tank. I've tried adjusting idle and to no avail she still dies out other then that quad runs great. Any ideas?

Sounds to me like it's running just a little rich. Had you done any carb adjustments/modifications/repairs before you noticed this problem? This is definitely a simple carb issue, and can be solved by changing your main jet or adjusting the needle placement.
