They are jsut timed runs through the woods right? if so is it just 1 lap or how many laps are there?

Some of the local races are one hour, the bigger series (GNCC, AWRCS, etc) are two hours. All of them are that set time (one hour or two hours) plus one lap. Depending on the track one lap can be anywhere from four or five miles at local harescrambles, up to almost fifteen miles at bigger events. So you could actually end up racing like two hours and fifteen minutes. If you're interested you better start working out now....lol. Anyways, I hope that was the answers you were looking for.

yes, lol, and i have been working out..i heard a harescramble runs on a MX track for a part of it?

Yeah, usually you'll make a pass thru the mx track if the place has one on each lap.

At seminole you race 2 hours through a 7 mile trail and then go into about half of the kx track which is another mile. Im gonna run a few of them.

they beat the **** out of you and your bike......but fun indeed.....and if youve widened your quad.....BE CAREFULL .....trees jump outta nowhere !!

Very true but my Raptor 350 with arms and axle is no wider than a stock YFZ. Our bikes widened handle much better, and still seem to fit thru the tight stuff.

its all good i'm in the best shape of my life, i run xc at west plains high school... dunno if any of you have heard of west plains zizzer cross country or not
