its winter now and i think my CDI box is getting moisture in it. Because the other day i started it up (after a wet snowy day) and when i did i pressed the gas and the sounded like the override was on that comes on when the parking break was on i checked that all out and that was all fine so i took out the plugs in the CDI box and sprayed and WD-40 in the plugs and all ofter the CDI box suck the moisture and pluged them back in and it worked fine. So is there anyway to prevent moisture from getting in there? Thanks in advance.

I don't think the moisture was actually IN the cdi if wd-40 fixed it. It probably got some water in the connectors. Just get some electrical grease at a hardware/auto parts store and smear the connectors with that. That will make a cleaner connection, and keep water from getting in the connector and messing with ****

alright thanks thats what i ment like it was getting water in the connectors and it was pissing me off id be pealin down the road 55-60 and that that overriding thing kick in and it would slow be down to like 10-15 in a matter of seconds
