hey fellas...just curious who changed their A arm bushings and what all i'd need...i'm doing this build as cheap as i can since i only paid 500 bucks for the quad.

i found this kit with the bushings for 16.00
http://www.amstarmanufacturing.com/Bushings.html

but my question is, is that all i need is new bushings? factory warrior A arms don't use bearings and bushings do they? my previous experience with atv's was a metal sleeve, with polyurethane (or the like) bushings and thats it

but i have seen kits with bearings and stuff (more expensive)

if i can, i'll probably just get those bushings and re use my old pins. i haven't tore into the quad that far to see if my A arms have bearings or not. appreciate the help! thanks!

found a microfiche on bikebandit.com and it looks like it is just a metal cap, a poly-like bushing and a metal pivot pin.

Theres not a clip as far as I can remember its a press in bushing and the pin slides out and the caps just pop on no biggy

The pins are usually worn. Mine were never greased and worn a lot. I got a bushing kit off E-Bay for $18. I got some stainless tubing from a metal supplier and made some pins. There are some kits that have the bushings, caps, and pins but aren't overly cheap.

yeah i'll have to see what i can find if the pins are worn. the company i work for may be able to help out. thanks again!

The stainless I got was a little big on the OD and a little small on the id. I drilled the ID so the OEM bolt would go through. The OD I actually ground to stock pin size in our crank grinder because I couldn't get the surface smooth enough in out lathe. I think they are kind of high, but below are some kits on E-Bay that have the bushings and pins.
