i was out running my buddies warrior that i got running for him and to me it seems real dead in mid range. you really had to work the throttle in the corners to make it slide around. on low end and top end it had power but mid you had to keep your rpms rather high in the corner. i couldnt see any adjustment screws on the car for a/f or high speed. i didnt take a close look but i take the carb had an adjustable needle and slide?

Yes it has a needle. Sounds like you may want to lower the clip on the needle a notch and see what happens. If there are two cables going to the carb you can adjust the slide and needle that way. You say you got it running for your bud, did you have to clean the carb? That could be your whole problem, give it a good cleaning.

no i didnt have to touch the carb he snapped the key off and decided to put wires together and blew the fuse then it came to me. it idles and runs great just no mid range.

Did it sit before he brought it to you? Might still be worth cleaning it. What with all the crap they put in the gasoline these days.

no it didnt sit prob more than a week before he brought it to me. it sucks theres no needle adjustments on the damn carb.

There is. Just take the jet needle out of the slide and move the clip down to richen and up to lean.

Thats what it sounds like. Try to move the clip down one notch and see what happens. Maybe it was moved from it's original position at some point.
