I have a White Brothers exhaust on my Warrior, and it is CRAZY load. Currently, it has the spark arrestor plate at the back of the stack of baffles. I took it out thinking it might make it less "poppy" (for lack of a better term); but, that made it louder.
What aftermarket muffler would bring down the noise without also bringing down the performance? Actually, I'm not too worried about having the highest HP producer. I just don't want to go stock, and want something more quite.

If you take out some of the discs (baffles) in the back of the pipe, it will make it quieter. Less baffles = less airflow (which usually means less sound).

It's actually believe the opposite with those exhausts. The more plates the quieter it is because there is more baffles.

Alex, the more baffles there are, the more air flow there is, do to the baffles being spaced apart. Much like a quiet core, if you have one baffle, there is only one small air way. If there was 10 baffles, there would be 10 slots for air to flow through, making it louder.

Yeah your right.
