ran some 400exs

My buds and i went riding yesterday,and had a few fun runs just to see how my bike matched up. Im impressed to say that i outran my buddies 01 400ex with fresh rebuild with a pipe,450r carb,and airbox mod. We are almost the same size so it was all bout the bike. My other buddies is a 05 with a white brothers exhaust airbox mod,and a 75lb lighter rider. It was close til the top of 5th for me then he started to creep past..overall im pretty happy considering i pretty much made some money buying this bike buy selling the extra parts that came with it!

if I woulda had the 13T sprocket I coulda whooped a piped 525 Polaris and stayed on the tail of a yfz, but 400ex I love racing them haha

400s get boring after a while, then you start picking on the 450's thats really fun! :tup:

i never said the guy on the 525 was the best rider lol but it had a fat boy 4, idk what was done to the yfz ibut I deffinatly don't think it was stock

My mods are fairly simple.060 piston,.030 head shaved,93 octane,keihan carb,fmf megamaxx pipe. I really was surprised it runs as good as it does considering what ive read bout how slow they are and such.
