Hi guys!
I'm wondering would the front shocks of a Z400 or YFZ450 fit my Raptor 350?

Too long. I don't even know the exact length of them, but I can tell you they're going to be too long.

ok will it change anything if i say that i have wheelspacers? :)

No. You still haven't changed the mounting points of the shocks. You know that saying about stuffing 100lbs of **** in a 50lb bag...... You're still trying to stuff a 16in (or whatever it is) shock in a 14.5in space. You can get them in, but your front end is going to sit high as hell and you balljoints are gonna "probably" blow out at some point. Not to mention, what you typically pay for a used set of YFZ shocks, you can get a cheap set of Works or the SS shocks for not much more.

ok :) Where is the best place to buy those shocks u where talking about? :)

Superior suspension can be found on ebay. Works is more popular, and I would rather works over ss due to that. Not too many people can back up ss, I still think of works as garage sale shocks, but they do work good.

You can get YFZ450 shocks for about 100 shipped, check out www.raptorforums.com/index.php alot of them do it to the 660s, if you want to do it to Warrior/Raptor, your going to need extended a-arms, or if you dont jump alot you could get suspension lowering kits for the front end and use yfz450 shocks if it is a nesscesity, but I do not recommend the lowering kits as they put alot of stress on frame.

I was abotu to call you an idiot for suggesting a lowering kit for jumping, but then you mentioned the frame thing.
Yeah, lowering kits are goof for much excapt street ridign and flat track.

Extended A-arms are not going to help fit YFZ shocks. The mounting points are still going to be only 14.5". The wheel moves out, the shock mounting location remains the same.

True, but if you're going to spend the money for long travel A-arms you're more likely to spend the extra few bucks on brand new shocks that actually fit your quad. Otherwise you're buying LT arms, and the YFZ shocks. Most want the YFZ shocks because they're a lot better than the stockers, and you can get them fairly cheap. Problem is they just don't fit right.

And what everybody is forgetting is that YFZ shocks ride like hell. You have some adjustment, but they still aren't built for the kind of riding most of us do and are too stiff and bouncy, especially when they're installed on a machine with different suspension geometry. Just quit screwing around and get some aftermarket shocks that are actually made to work, and don't take any chances with it.

U guys are right but i cant seem to find a dealer that is willing to ship to Sweden

The SS shocks are working great for me so far. I think they are well worth the $. Those plus some +2 A Arms made a huge difference in the front of my warrior. Had them on for almost a year with no problems yet. We will see if they stand the test of time.....
