Hmf claims that you don't have to rejet, but just with the pipe and the uni filter it came with I was running so lean I was shooting blue flames when I revved the motor and shifted. It depends on how the machine was jetted before you put the hmf on, do a plug chop to find out if it needs rejetted.

when your firin blue flames out back then u deff need to rejet... surfnaked just rejet bro thats your best bet your gonna get better performance out of your setup and u will be sure that your not hurtin anything

well i am goin on a trip soon and i don't think i have time to re jet , so what should i do? also will it hurt it runnin a stock, and i don't care if i shoot flames out of the pipe i think its pretty cool.

A lean condition will make it easy to melt the piston / rings since they do require a certain ammount of fuel to cool them during the combustion process, also wont run worth a **** if not jetted right. Re-jet now or risk your engine's health.
