rear banshee shock play

after installing my banshee shock. i noticed that there was a little bit of play on the top, side to side. maybe only 1/8-1/4" each way. honestly i've never really done any suspension work so i didn't know it this is normal or not?

yeah, there are just two little rubber spacers

I think there are suppose to be some metal spacers also. I just got a banshee shock recently I will take a picture of mine.

Awesome, tHanks! After looking at it again, there isn't as much movement as I originally stated. Maybe 1/16-1/8" I looked at a parts breakdown and I seem to have all the spacers...
