So I wanted to swap the wheels and tires off of my LT230 onto my warrior; I found out the bolt pattern wasn't the same, so I thought I would at least see if the hubs would swap out. (The front ones did with no problem.)

My issue is I can't get the nut holding the hub on to break loose at all. Is it a left handed thread or anything? I've tried heating it and vice grips (horrible I know) and cheater pipes, the whole 9 yards. Should I move on to a pipe wrench and see if that will knock it loose?

Thanks!

The cotter pin was already missing. I checked to make sure there wasn't any obstruction in the axle holding it back.

I guess if worse comes to worst, I can cut that nut off and just replace it, hopefully not damaging the threads in the process.

They are right hand threads, and are on really tight. I got one of mine off, but it took a rachett hammer and alot of muscle, I think I had mine in gear with somebody on the brake and had to stand on the rachet and give it a good jump and it come loose.

Thanks for the info guys. I guess if it's a right hand thread, I just need to torque the hell out of it. Just remembered I got a massive breaker bar for Christmas. I'll give it a go tonight if I can find the thing.

Thanks again

Something else you might try if it will work put a support bar through the sprocket so it jams somewhere to keep the wheels from turning adn see if that will help get that nut off.
