What's the easiest way to replace the rear shock without taking everything apart to get to it? Is there an easy way? Looking at how it's on there and where everything else is at I'm thinking I have a long weekend ahead of me...

take air box out and that's it top bolt, bottom bolt in dog bone and 2 10mm bolts for rezzy can on frame

imma need this next week. got modded air box, shock covers, box outerwears and gotta put banshee rear shock in so yeah thanks for letting me kno lol.

take the bottom shock bolt out first then jack up so rear swinger drops a little so you have more room to get it out when you take the top bolt out and then just unbolt rezzy and get the new shock in

So the rezzy can goes to? I assume if I bought a new shock I'd be able to get another can? Is there any way of knowing if the rezzy is still good or not?

Is there a way to "recharge" the rezzy? If so does that make the rear shock work again? I have a spare rear shock but if it's just lacking compression......

when you change the rear shock YOU DO NOT UNBOLT THE REZY FROM THE SHOCK BODY! the new shock will already have a rez if its supposed to.

Oh you were talking about removing/installing the ressie? Yeah do not take that mofo off. In all honesty, if you are looking for an upgrade without breaking the bank, get a banshee rear shock. Also, you don't have to remove the air box. Just jack up the center of the bike, remove the upper and lower bolts and it'll pull right out. You may have to jack the bike up higher for the swinger to move further down, but it works.

Yea I unbolted the hose from the shock and wore most of it... FML. Is it price effective to rebuild a shock? I'm thinking of taking a shock off my parts bike and having a mechanic refill and attach the rezzie to the shock. I'd install it myself.

There is a guy in minnesota called the shock guru, he rebuilt mine for $100 bucks. I think I would go with the works shock that mathius found on ebay.
