refurbishing pained plastics

ok i have 2 sets of painted plastics id like to redo, my dada yellow and the white from the 87 that will go on mine. the 87 rears also hsve a crack in them that i will use a plastic welder for. any tips?

for anyone wondering laquer thinner and scotch brite takes paint right off

Standard paint stripper works great to. When I got Jar-Jar someone had painted the plastics black. Tested it on a old tank cover I had here. No damage done. Luckily for me they didnt scuff the plastics up, so they shined when the paint was off.
