Reuse head bolts and copper washer's

Can i reuse the copper washers on the head bolts ? I ordered new bolts but my gasket kit didnt come with new washers. If i take some sand paper to the washers clean em up real good will they leak

hell, i have reused mine twice. cleaning them up is a good idea, but i wouldn't say it's necessary.

the head bolts are good for 3 rebuilds after that, they stretch and can break, reusing the copper washers is fine, just wash em off and go again!

Well i guess i have a good set of bolts then, mine havent been used but 1 time maybe 2. Anyone needs them let me know!!
