Hello all,

I have buy warrior '93 who don't run since 5 years. After cleani g 2 times carburetor, engine run erratic, like air leaking from oil seal on 2 strokes engines.

Timing is ok
Spark look ok
Puff of blacl smoke when throlle up engine.
Hard idle.

Does bad oil seal can do that? Any suggestion?

Sounds rich from the black smoke. I'de check how the carburetor is set, as well as what jets are it.
Air leaks cause a lean condition, and are usually easily found by spraying soapy water around suspect areas, carb, intake, head and base gaskets.
Crank seals are harder to determine as a problem, but should always be replaced with any bottom end rebuild. They can also be changed easily if you have a flywheel puller and something to hold the clutch basket.

Slow rpm at idle is hard to reach, so yes rpm is little bit high at idle.

Choke is probley stuck check if the internal seals for the choke on the carb are blown out. Unscrew the nut behind the lever and pull it out and inspect the o-ring on the plunger.

Any other idea? Little black smoke and some back fire. Rebult carb with shindy kit, except needle...
Will order new seal on choke plunger....

O ring looks correct on plunger, but there is a seal item 34 on carburetor diagram that i don't have on my carb?

Does anyone can confirm that this seal is behind the plunger?

Thank you.
