i'm kinda at the same point. i love the warrior and it is a great quad. i just dont know how much money to put into it. i got my 01 for only 1100. even though i've put a lot of money into, if i sold it right now, i could still sell it for blue book and not lose any money. i've held of on any motor work because you cant part out a motor. you can always sell the bolt-ons though. i'm curious to hear what people recommend for you on your question

Ok im kinda at the point with my quad to either sell it and buy something new or fork out some cash on the motor and suspension. If I keep it I will do the motor first so any suggestions on what to have done to it while still keeping it reliable thx

sell it, your not going to get a whoe lotta speed w/o sacrificing reliablity, get somthing faster and more racier.

I say trade it on something that's faster to begin with, i'd like to trade mine in on a raptor 700, but I have so much money into the warrior now that I would lose too much if I traded it. When you add up all it costs to upgrade the suspension and motor just to match one of the newer quads it just doesn't make sense to spend that much money on a warrior. They're good for trail riding and having fun, but if you're trying to hang with the big dogs the best thing is to get a quad designed for what you want to do.

I like my raptor 350 and its more than enough for me but if I wanted to upgrade Id just get a Yfz450. I dont understand why people put so much money into anything thats air cooled, liquid is superior in every way for performance.

I agree with that^^ It really matters what type of riding you do to say what type of quad you would get. for example, mx would be yfz, hillshooting/drags would be a banshee, and trail riding would be a 700R. of course you can make a yfz into a great trail quad, but the 700 handles the trails better, imo.

i say upgrade to a better quad.

OK 90% chance of buying a new ATV tomorrow what do you think i should get. I mainly trail ride ;D

700 raptor hands down, i really like the yfz but it doesn't have no reverse so its not ideally suited for trails

Maybe a 450r, rocketships that you can still lug down for the trails.

sell the warrior only if you know its a gaurentee that you'll get something better.

Whats better than a warrior??? Its the only quad that tells me what time it is, and its coming around to 12 O clock

I wouldn't ever sell mine, it's like a classic car now to me!!! They just don't have that 80's buggy look nowadays.
