Selling an engine for parts

I've got a 98 engine, top end sucked a valve when the previous owner bored it out, (idk what he bored it to). He said the bottom end is fine. no leaks. Got someone interested in it knowing the top end is shot. What's a good price? I'm thinking $200?

sounds like a extremely good deal for him, could get a little more out of it. thats what the cases alone are worth! maybe 300?
