My bro had a 88 turbo turd when we were in high school 13 yrs ago, fun car had a 5speed had that cool ride control switch that really dident do anything. would make a great V8 conversion car. A friend bought it and put the motor and trans in a ranger.

I wont do a V8 conversion, the turbo 4 can make gobs of power at less wieght than a V8. Stock the 87-88 birds were just shy of 200 hp and the stock bottom end will hold close to 400 reliably.
