Hey all, let me start by saying I'm not the most mechanically inclined person in the world. I've always had 2 stroke dirt bikes and just ventured into the quad world....anyway. I bought a 2002 Warrior and had the motor rebuilt (crank, connecting rod, piston, valves....and did the clutch at the same time. I did it as soon as I got the quad so I really didn’t have any experience with it before the rebuild. Now it's together and running strong, however the entire things vibrates like crazy! I mean it almost hurts to hold the bars, I can even feel it through my boots in the pegs. The motor sounds fine, it feels like the running of the motor is making the frame vibrate like crazy. I've checked every nut and bolt and everything is tight, the engine mounts are fine, I literally can't fine ANYTHING that makes me think "that's the problem" sooooo this is where everyone's expertise comes in, any ideas?? What should I look at?? Do these things just feel like earthquakes when riding??

I'm wondering if during the rebuild the the counterbalance was not set in time with the crank correctly. Off by a tooth and it would shake real bad.

No chance it would be something simple, huh? Haha. Thanks for the idea!

I can't think of anything simple that would cause the amount of vibration you are describing. It sounds like you went over all of the bolts and everything else that could cause minor vibrations. Maybe shoot us a video and we can see/hear the vibration if it's bad enough?
