shift shaft seal

I am a new guy here. I have an 01 warrior and am setting it up for trails. I have had 4 warriors in the past and they have been great to me. I have not run into this issue in the past and wondered if anyone has. Has anyone changed the shift lever shaft seal in the case from the outside? Mine has a drip and I am about to replace it. Thanks, Jeff
