:-/i am new to this sport i have a 01 warrior basket case i rebuilt the motor it had bad crank hole in case and a few bad bearings .after spliting the case twice i finaly got it running, but now i am having trouble with shifting.my question is when putting the spring and ball and bolt in the hole for the reverse am i supose tohave the selector in foward or reverse or in the middle of both or does it realy matter?? any thaught or answer would be great. i have spent two months on this wheeler and i am about to make it a boat anchor!!!! :'( :'(

well i figured it out the problem with shifting was the arm that shifts the gear forks i call it the shift hub that has the pins that move the forks(only people that have worked on a rebuild would know what i am talking about)well thspring was twisted so it would only grab the pin to up shift and wouldnt grab to down shift so i fixed the spring and put the cover back on and away she wentthat is all fixed . as for the foward and reverse selector where the bolt and spring and ball bearing goes in the case i pulled the spring out and tossed it in the garbage and left the ball bearing in put the bolt back in and she shifts like a champ.all good now so i guess if you have some questions i could answer them.
