Hey i was looking for shocks and i was wondering how much the rezzies do..Is it worth the money to get the shocks with the rezzies. Even if the aftermarket shocks dont have the rezzies there still better than stock..

Are they worth it for just aggressive trail riding? and maybe some XC racing? If i get the money and if he still have them im gunna buy the peps and the wickeds off the guy in the classifieds.

You can race mx without shocks for a while, You have no chance in hell racing xc without shocks, ofcourse the better, the better haha. It depends really, if you get rezzies they most likely have comp. adjustments, which are deff. worth it.

The Works dual rates W' rezzis like I have run $560, they don't have compression adjust though, they run over $700. A good set of Elkas with all adjustments run just over $1000, 8 to 900 without the adjustments.

Non-rezzies are fine for most people. They're still a 100% improvement over stock. If you're into seriously aggressive trail riding or racing, the rezzies are a must.

yeah i already got all the prices im justwondering if the rezzies are worth it..im already race XC and the stockers are ok...i have kinda of adjusted my riding style to them..i just want to upgrade..im thinking +2 a-arms with peps..like the ones in the classifieds

Uhhm if you race xc then defintily get a good set shocks with either piggy back rezzis or remote, what ever fits the budget. But IMO I would go with the fully adjustable piggy back rezzi Elkas if I were xc ing.

The peps are one of the best shocks you can buy, but make sure if you buy them used they're set up for your weight and riding style. Getting a good deal on used shocks can go bad quick if you have to pay to revalve and respring them.

You always have the option of adding rezzeys latter.. That was my plan.. I found my elkas cheap, but they didn't have any rezzeys.. so when I have extra money I will get some, but intil then they are way better than stock..

Yeah i was just looking into the ones that didnt have the rezzies and found out that you could add rezzies..How much does it cost to buy the rezzies and put them on?

Actually thats not true a all. Only elka offers a plan like that, and even then its only with their lowest line of shocks. Personally for trails i would get axis, They are freaking incredible, my next setp up no doubt.

I know you can add rezzies with Works also. Don't know about any other brands though...

Correct me if I am wrong.. But as long as you have a place on your shock to add gas, you can add rezzes... ELKA,WORKS,PEP.. I am pretty sure all have that option..

I think it's another 200 something just for the parts, and then of course you have to send them into the manufacturer or somewhere else that services shocks to actually install the reservoir.

Just becuase the SHOCK has the option doesnt mean the COMPANY does. As far as I know only elka and works have a " rezzie later" plan. Those little valves you are talking about are used for re valvling/ re-filling.
