The other day I decided to jack up the warrior. The bike was in neutral and I tried to spin the axle with my hand. The axle spun but with about all my hand strength. So I figured it was the carrier bearings locking up on me. Nope I cut the old chain off and the axle spun with ease. So I grabbed the front sprocket and tried to turn it with my hand and it took a ton of pressure. I was under the impression that it should turn fairly easy since its in neutral. Now before all off this the bike rolled fairly easy and would roll down the slightest hill if in neutral. Does anyone know if its normal or not for my front sprocket to be that hard to turn. I appreciate any comments and knowledge from my warrior brethren. Thanks. KP

I wanna say thats normal....no? genpat? kinda like when its in neutral and u jack up ass end and tires still spin..........

Other than a 12 year old chain and sprockets which I am replacing. The bike performed quiet well. If I ever parked it on the slightest incline it would roll. The delivery is smooth in all gears. I just thought that Your front sprocket should turn easy when in neutral.

edit: ass end jacked up in nuetral and IDLING tire still spin. my front sprocket does NOT spin freely either.

Thanks for all the responses fellas. I'm not going to worry about the sprocket. Well.. just putting a new one on of course.
