Should I Worry About This? (Cam Chain) pics

Hey guys, When i put my piston to TDC to do my valves the mark on the cam gear doesnt line up perfect. Does it look like its off too much? or should it be ok that much off?

Mines off TDC by about that much to and my machanic said its nothing to make a diffrence

Now if i could only get rid of the rattling when i accelerate i would be happy. It so damn loud you can hear it over the exhaust, even right after a valve job.
