Shut off issue

So I my brother sold his Polaris and got a warrior. It's a 99 model and in decent shape. The only issue is that the key nor the switch on the handle bar will cut the warrior off. Where should I start looking? I thought about taking my ignition switch off and swapping them to see if that works. I am thinking there is some kind of wiring issue.

Check all connections, take the kill switch assy apart, make sure it's clean, the switch contacts are no stuck down, etc. Look at the female end of the igniton switch. The female contacts may need to be pinched tighter.
