ok, some of u know that i had some problems with my battery a few weeks abo so i got a new one. Well ive been riding it with the new battery for about a week, started up perfect every time. Then i go to start it, and its doin the same thing it did with the old dead battery. I think its the stator, but i am sick of workin on it more than riding it. Any comments would be great.

Disconnect your battery any time your not riding, it's not hard to take the seat off and unscrew the connectors, we won't be listening to any complaining anymore

I don't know if I would jump all over him just yet Evilhaze. We know that disconnecting your battery or atleast using a trickle charger should be done - however, I haven't had mine on a trickle charger or disconnected the battery and let it sit over a week and it still starts just fine. I wouldn't expect a brand new battery to lose charge that quickly. Specially if he's been using it.

There might be more to the problem than just a battery.

yeah but you shouldnt have to unconnect the damn thing after your done riding it every time

No you should not, you have some parasitic drain going on or something is not charging it. TAKE THAT BATTERY OUT AND KEEP IT CHARGED; DON'T LET IT DRAIN FULLY AND LEAVE IT LIKE THAT!!!

Ive had my quad for a year and a half now and havent touched the battery its always got charge, so that cant be right

yea, i think its the stator, or w/e its called that keeps it charged.
