we are putting a little drag sled together

hey i need some info on chain case ratios ?
pipes .. like will the pipes off a ultra sp 700 fit the 680 ultra (i think they will) or pipe bands ?
best stud configuration?
and will a extra 10 rear fit where a extra 12 once was (i think they will) ?

and im thinking p/c engagement @ 5000 rpm

any and all info you guy have would be great

its a drag sled not a trail^ any way bones the 680 you should be fine with the 700 tripple pipes you may have to so a little moding but might not, is it a sleeper or a straight drag if drag only the lower the better, that tripple will scream depending on the pipes and how hard you want it to hook ill hold of on the clutching but i would be from 5500, to 6000 on starting engage ment since powervalves ore not on that motor, 144 wil hook up great but if you want to hook and fly 192 studs is you best friend, the suspension should bolt in,and chain case i can tell more when i get more information from ya

bones im the master when it comes to this **** my 600 triple eats up 800's and mine is all stock with reeds and a can, and so yeah im pretty on top of my game with sleds there my life

thats what I was trying to explain to Alex higher rpm hook up is better for drag!

alright then dont lower it but get everything all mounted up and tune it in from there the gearing i would drop a tooth on the top and call the gearing good, but for what ever desired rpm (which wil prolly be 8300-8600) clutch to at least a 5500 engagement and have it rev to the max of that motors top rpm , then lightn the chassis with pplastic skis run a 1in track 192 studs, K&N filters, triple pipes, and slap a 600cc sticker on it for looks and dont open the hood, any more q's just post here

im not sure not a polaris guy but from al the sleds ive helped out with it can me done just a little time, it sounds like a really fun summer project
