Just bought a 1989 warrior a few days ago. It had a couple issues (needed new starter clutch, blowing white smoke) but I think it was a good deal at $800. I have the starter clutch on the way, but what I'm wondering is what could be causing it to blow smoke when I hit the throttle. The guy mentioned to me that a week before I bought it that he changed the oil and it started blowing smoke immediately afterwards. He said something that it might need new piston rings, but told me the engine was rebuilt 100 miles ago. It's definitely a white smoke, and I'm stumped on what could be causing it. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.
