smokes pretty bad

So it smokes and oil res comes out of the exhaust. most likely the rings.. however, i am going riding this weekend. If i just keep adding oil, will that be ok for a temp fix or will blow the engine?

You should be ok for the weekend as long as you keep the oil level in check. Don't put off fixing it for too long though, it's better to fix it sooner than later.

It sat in my garage for a full year so I'm hoping the Rings and garbage on them or stuck. I put marvel mystery oil down in the cylinder. Going to push it out the spark plug hole once I'm off work. I've read some great stories about this trick. Hoping for the best.
