Mogadore, Oh
Hey guys I just want to get more opinions. I switched to yfz calipers and braided line, problem is I can't get a firm brake out of it, I've tried all of our techniques including our reverse bleader. Anyone else have any ideas, could the master cylinder, brake line or calipers be bad?

Original warrior master cylinder? Dual piston calipers? Maybe not enough pressure. IDK. Did the pistons move freely? Just throwing out ideas.

They are man I had issues doing mine when I changed out to speedlines. This is how sparky told me to do it and worked great. Open the nipple and squeeze the lever, close the nipple, repeat. Do that several times till you have a steady stream and it will tighten up. You probably have an air pocket in there that wont come out. If your Li.es are the same length don't matter what side you do first.

air in the line splitting block thing? (IDK what its called) air still in the calipers? (somehow?) i dont think the master is the problem though. i know people on here use the stocker with complete success. does it feel spongey? like you can pull the lever all the way in? you may just need to fill the calipers before bleeding?

Yep tried that first, I've been fighting these for a year now

Also found a good quote from deuce

I have found that I had to adjust my front brake lever play so that it was at full adjustment for max pressure. After doing this, it works very well... a lot more feel than the single piston setup.

I didn't know you could adjust the front brake lever

Yes just goes all the way in and you shouldnt have to do that with reverse bleeding

you got an air pocket, most likely in the calipers. try to pre-fill the calipers before you put the brake line on. then bleed them.

Mine are tight.
The master cyl appeared to be the same on both bikes.
I bought the yfz master cyl which has an adjustable lever. I don't think it makes a difference though.
As far as bleeding goes, I have only had luck bleeding them in the way MS described.
For me the dual piston calipers on front was great. Much more stopping power.
As for using one on the rear, I'm still undecided. The braking is so aggressive it will stall the bike very quickly.
I haven't gotten used to that yet. Still deciding.

I use this little bottle that has a hose that fits into the bleeder. As you push fluid out it prevents air from returning to the system.
It's only a couple bucks at the parts store.

i think what beastly is talking about is the one that you hook up to the nipple and pump it to bleed the brakes.
