some quick help please?

so I got the 01 se warrior all back together and put the new starter on and push the button and nothing but when I switch the kill switch to the off side it turns over but because it's in the off position there is no spark for it to fire what could be the problem? and if we pull start it she fires right up

a short in the switch? my kill dont work, wires broke and so freakin short n tight in there i just use key for on/off. id start by taking switch apart

Sounds like something is a miss in the switch itself or maybe the wires from the switch to the harness are crossed. Is the solenoid making any noises?

figured it out it was the neutral safety switch bypassed it and she runs great but it only starts with the kill switch in the off position and nothing with it in the run position but once she's running I can switch the kill on and off and it just keeps running until I turn the key off and holy hell she's got more balls than my 02
