Gettin ready for the stroker

Well I sent out the motor to FST for the 446 kit. Their doin the crank, case bore, sleave press, and port and flow of the head, plus a matched cam, so I'll keep you's updated. The specs will be like 87.5mm bore and 75mm stroke. Stock is 83mm and 64.5mm.

Im glad your going with the 446 stroker, its going to be one wicked machine. Id reccomend an edelbrock carb, and a dyna ignition with a programming kit so you can limit your rpms to avoid blowing it up.

Well I got the Edlebrock, just need the Dyna now. Mickey told me this thing is gonna be so fast I'm gonna have to learn to ride it again, lol, he did recommend changing the gearing.

wow this thing is going to be an animal . if you dont mind me asking how much is this coasting i am gonan have to see thsi thing in person when its done. also get back to me on directions to that sand pit place you never got back to me in pm's.
anyway cant wait to here your feed back on this monster.

Well guys the motors back as of last nite, I assembled the crank, and trans and put the two cases back together, I'm having a little difficulty with the starter clutch, so the flywheel has to come off again, but thats about it, I'll keep yas updated.

Update guys, Its gonna be a few more as the motor has to go back to FST, after torquing the primary gear back on, the crank binds up and is not spinning freely, so somthing is not right, either the crank has a slight bend to it from the heat of moving the rod pin, or the webs are slightly too tight on the top. Either way this sucks, because the whole motor is almost assembled, so now I have to ship the whole motor, to make it easier for him to determine what is the problem.

It's weird as soon as you loosen up the primary gear, the crank spins perfect, it's as if the crank doesn't want to set up center when it's torqued. I'm actually learning somthing here, even though you know how to build a motor, it might have been better off sending the whole motor, because when you get it back it'll be ready to go. It's just the $600 to disassemble and reassemble, for somthing that I know how to do, is hard to bite.
