When I bought my 2001 Warrior the chain snapped on the first ride, and smacked my crankcase and broke off the part that provides a mount for the chain guard... Since then it's been JB welded back on, but now its broken again. We JB welded it again but no dice... What can I use that's stronger than JB? I really don't want to have it professionally welded.... :/

There is this steel puddy stuff. Its in a tube and its gray. My buddy used it as a quick fix for his oil tank leak and its dries so hard you can actually grind it.

JB-Stick. Same thing geeesfore is talking bout. It get as hard as steal, thats what i used and goin on 3 years holdin fine wil zero leaks

Would either of the two work for plugging the holes as well? Where the chain guard mounting bolts go snapped off and you can see into the engine... There's some air getting in there thats gumming up the performance as well as leaking some oil..

Yep it should. Look in 87warrior917's Elite thread I believe. His should have actually had a case half put on it messed up so bad. His is holding good from what Ive heard so far.

^^^ Yupp check my elite thread out. Thats how i bought the quad. The kid tried to fix it and failed. It was real bad... Holding just fine

Their is an alumnum rod that is like brazeing, you have to use MAP gas to get it hot enough to melt. But is the next best thing to TIG welding aluminium. I have some here at house and have used it, works pretty well. I used acetylin torches to do it though. But you at the least need MAP gas.
