Splitting the cases?

I will be splitting my motor Friday. I have a book and seen a few videos of a wolverine motor being split. Anyone have advice, tips and tricks, things to watch for etc?

Just make sure to not loose the 7 or 8 thrust washers on the ends of the transmission axle shafts. Other then that, it is super easy.

And pay attention to shift forks

Im hoping the transmission all stays in place other than the shims obviously. I just need to out in a new crank assembly.
