sprocket size

So I'm going to get a new chain and sprockets. My rear dirt tires ar 22" and I weigh close to 300pds. I was thinking of 14/40 but my paddle tires are 20" and I don't want to make 1st gear useless. What do you guys/girls think?

That's a good clombo if you are running 5th or 6th at the dunes

Holy cow you could probable ide in 5th then if I was you and wanted to get good high gear power id go with 13/40 or 12/38

But on a side note there is nothing better then personal experence on your gearing and riding style when dealing with your personal machine setup

id stick with the 13, you should get 20's for your next tire. and holy crap 300 ya a big ol boy
