i have aq question i have a 87 warrior and i did some motor work to it it has a .20 wiesco pisotn and a mid range web cam and p&p and i need help to see what i can do for thew starter it had almost no poower to turn this thing over i have put a bigger battery in it and took a starter out of a newer bike and still not a big difference at all i no on az car starter that u can play with the mags in it and get more turing power out of it but does anyone no if u can do that to this little starter if not does anyone make different gears for the gear ruduction setup flywheel and the startermotor thasnks for your help kyle
 
If you're sure you don't have some kind of a motor problem after the rebuild that's creating extra friction and causing it to not want to turn over, you could try contacting one of the aftermarket starter manufacturer/rebuilders (I think mine came from DB Electric on eBay) to see what they can recommend.

Another thought might be trying the compression release along with the electric starter. It works for the rope starter, maybe it would work for the electric.
 
yea i i doubble check the motor caues thats what i thoug what was rong but i checked all the clearences and everry thing was fine and i did a compression test last month it has good compression enough when i try to pull start it with out the decompression lever it drages the bike across the floor ill get a new starter this week if i have time to go by the shop and pick one up aftermarket one up for like 78.99 and ill try that
