OK in regards to my last post about the starter problems. We did a load test and it passed that so we thought it could be just loose or dirty wires. We wiggled some around and tried to start it with no choke. We tried about 20 times and it started once and that was it. My dad just wiggled one of the regulator wires and then we tried to start it and it fired up like it was new!! And then we tried to do the exact same thing but it failed. I think it may be a bad ignition coil or a bad regulator. Is there anyway to check this stuff so that its working correctly or any suggestions on what I should do?

ont thing you can do it pulll all the wires and clean the conection to make ure you are getting power throught all of them and check the wires with an omes meter to make sure your wires are good and they are not burned up or broken in ide of the inolater. hope thi helps and make your your ground is good

Sounds like you may have some water in your electric connections - blow them out with some compressed air and put some dielectric grease on ALL electric leads.

yes I red that in my service manual but can it also be just normal grease? I also put this cheap imitation of WD-40 in all the connections I don't think that will harm it, will it?

yes it will if you read all the lable on the wd40 can it has lots of water in it. so stick with diolectic greese its special made for wires normale greese will not be the first choice to use it will eventally melt away and it traps water if it is not waterproof.
