So I start my warrior and it makes this loud whinny noise while I'm holding the start switch and if the lights are on you see them flicker several times and then it FINALLY turns on.. I recently replaced the starter, solenoid, and spark plug. It's been doing this for a while but its getting worse. What the h?

I just had to replace my starter clutch recently. U can hear the starter kicking in but the motor doesnt turn over. I would think that it would make a loud clunk when the clutch caught though. If u could get a sound clip other people on here could troubleshoot btr than me

No clunking noise, just a raspy squeal sound... Thinking its as goofy as the start switch going out?

I don't think so.. I had a mechanic check all the wiring not too long ago, and since then hasn't been driven much.

I'm starting to think starter clutch too....
Damn..
Well at least I've got one, and a manual..
There goes my weekend.. :/

If u have the tool to remove the magneto then ur in for a pretty quick fix. Dont do like i did and drop the half moon into the oil pan !!! Makes this job a real B**ch
