Starting problems

Hey guys I got a 98 warrior I just rebuilt the carb and have the needle at the second notch from the bottom. It's starting really hard and has a white plug. I'm not sure if its getting too much air or not enough gas. Any answers would be very appreciated. Thanks everyone

did you set the air/fuel screw 2 1/4 turns out

I would put your needle in the third (middle) notch
