Stator bearing replacement

finally got my card and taxes paid off so back in the positive. got some parts in the mail but before they go on im taking care of my starter clutch. while im in there probably a new stator and this bearing. its part #4 here http://www.bikebandit.com/houseofmotorcycles/1999-yamaha-warrior-350-yfm35xl/o/m145982#sch106310. about 2 years ago i replaced my pickup coil and remember that bearing didn't move freely. we tried to clean it up best as possible but still caught a bit at times. while im in there this time i should probably take care of it. is this going to have to be a yamaha part or does anyone know where else i can get one preferably with the seal?

With the bearing number, you can cross reference the bearing and buy a generic one that is the same. The bearing number for that bearing is 93306-07801-00.

This site cross referenced it and it's like $4 for the bearing instead of $25. I'm sure there are other sites like that one, that was just a five minute google search. Just google the bearing number and hundreds of sites with it come up.

You used bikebandit, but if you use the yamaha oem parts website, they supply the bearing number in the product description.

There's the link, and under product 4, which is the bearing, the bearing number is listed. Bikebandit uses their own numbers for stocking products so you can't use it to cross reference. The number has to be the yamaha oem number, so the yamaha parts house site uses yamaha product numbers. Then you just google that number like I said.

Yeah, there's several sites that list the yamaha part number, that one is just usually the first result when you search "yamaha oem parts".
