Soo i started on replacing the bottom steering stem bearings. I got as far as trying to get the damn bearing collar out....:argh:didnt go very well. Does anybody have the 30mm tool to get it out? Or have any 30mm bolts laying around?? Please check, and if you do ill buy it off ya. I need this fixed asap. Now i have an elite warrior in pieces all over the floor and cant put it back together until this is fixed. Thanks in advanced!!!

I am gonna check my local TSC tomorrow and all the hardware stores i know of, but odds are they prob wont have anything that big. I guees yamaha sells the tool for it but dont really wanna pay outta my ass for it...This just topped everything this week, what else is gonna go wrong?!!

if you can find a tall 30mm nut you can use a wrench

Ill look tomorrow for one... hope i can find one...or i might have to weld some **** up to get it out. I hate this **** when something so easy turns into a nightmare. Lately thats all its been for me.

if you wld something up to get it out, you might be able to rent it out to the next guy who has to do it.

True. Good thinking. I tried to look up 30mm bolts on the net with no luck. most come in like a 50 piece set or something dumb.

when i did mine i found a big nut (1" i think) i had laying around and then welded a big bolt to it so i could get the breaker bar on there with a socket. definately recommend heating the collar though cause its usually really rusted in there. sucks seeing as ur gonna end up destroying the surrounding paint though
