I have a 2003 Warrior, just put in a new clutch and lubed the cable. It still has a real stiff pull compared to other atv's/bikes I've ridden. Heard of some clutch lever assembly swaps from raptor or something that would be a lot smoother. Does anyone have any suggestions? Not looking to spend a bunch.

If you have access to a welder, lengthen the clutch release lever by one inch. You will have to reposition the release lever on the splined shaft. The cost is free and the added length cuts clutch pull by almost half.

blackout in theroy that would work but it would not have enough pull after that to disengage the clutch.

It works, i've been running it on mine for over a year and on a friends blaster for even longer. Its a simple lever with the splined shaft being the pivot point. By lengthening the release lever you increase mechanical advantage. When your at school tomorrow look at your teeter-totter, with you sitting on one end put a skinny kid on the other end-nothing happens. Now move the pivot closer to you, the same skinny kid can now lift you. Lol just ******* with you, but seriously it works.

I often wondered if you could do this. The theory makes perfect sense.
Just thought the cable/ lever pull might not be long enough. Or the action would be slowed causing the clutches to slip.

I wondered the same thing before i first done it. I measured the travel distance of the original lever and one inch was about max i could lengthen it and still get full travel. I also had to tweak the cable mount a little because of the different angle on the release lever. I cut the original arm off the splined collar, made a longer one an welded it back on. Makes a hellava difference. Rapter clutch is probably easier but this was free. Well actually i got paid to do to. Nice having a machine shop and welding shop at work.

I have the Magura hydraulic clutch on mine.
Not easier to pull, but I like the feel better than the cable.
I had the raptor 350 setup on there before. Best $30 mod period.
