i thought you said hotrods were junk??

I never said they were junk I just said they were the less powerful kit. But due to my shop being a Hot Rods dealer I got this **** at cost and I wouldnt be able to afford an FST kit anyway so I took what I could get. The gains still should be in the 14-16HP range :-D!!

when you resleeve your motor how do you get the old sleeve out? and put the new one in? im new to this kind of ****

You wouldnt have to but because my current bore is to big to use that piston I have to re-sleeve and bore; the sleeves are pressed in and pressed out.

ahh i see so you got a smaller piston? why cant you use the one you have in there now?

To avoid using a spacer between the head and cylinder you need to use the cp piston, which is set down 2mm further. You would also need a longer custom cam chain if you used a normal JE piston. That is why the piston is so expensive, it is custom made for the warrior stroker. What compression did you get death, the 10.5 to 1???

Looks like today is our Christmas then Death. I got my **** from magic racing today and ordered my pipe today. I can change my signature now. But thats awesome. I can't wait to hear about the final product.

put your motor in the oven and put your sleeve in the freezer, thats what we do with the briggs and stratton dragster motors at the shop, the sleevs slide in nice and when everything cools down/warms up, it's in there tight

Yeah we do the same thing with bearings but use a torch.

if you dont mind, how much will the bore and hone set you back? or are you getting it done right at the shop for nothing? cant wait to see it man. i want one so bad now

thanks alot, way to go death - making me spend more $$$$

I paid shop cost on all the parts for the kit and it came out to be $530.00; the retail cost on all that stuff would have been like $850.00! Also yes all the machine work is getting done in our shop for free; I am paying nothing for the install. With labor and parts you are looking at over a grand for pretty much any stroker when its all said and done.

There are also additional costs such as chain/sprocket kit to gear up, cam, jetting, and an oil cooler if you dont have one.
