in my conquest to start XC racing i have to ask all of you ONE more question, what would be a better tire?i know ALL of you are growing tired,of my constant questions, but i saw that soe one had all traks on a rappy, and wondered how they did??

whcih would wear better?better traction?better in general

thank you SOO much for putting up with me

I havent had any experence with any of the tires you asked about above, but i have delt with GBC Dirt Devels i run those on my Bayou 250 and they are great tires great lug and they have a square shape like a sport and perform like one too they are also not too heavly liek many other trail tires. Dirt Devel tires are awsome in mud /dirt you name it i think it would be a great setup in the rear for your Recon. And maybe run a lower profile tire up front like a kenda Klaw. The other tire i surgest is ipt Holeshot xct but i dont know about runnig them on a recon. hope that helps in some way.

I had the maxxis sur tracs, were a great for the woods. Had the 22inch size and they hooked up pretty good in everything... good snow tire too. I had em on my raptor for about a year and a half and they still had plenty of rubber left. The only thing about em I didnt like was that they were kinnda baloonish, didnt like how they wanted to bounce... id suggest getting something like a h-d or that new holeshot gncc tire

I had all traks as the very first set of tires on the raptor and i liked them alot they worked good in every condition and they lasted quite awhile

the dirtdevels are awsome on wear i also ride the road ( i have a long drive way to mess around on and after 3 years of being beat on teh tires stil have awsome tread ,the wear is amazing. they do not wear fast. aslo Yamharaptor was saying the the surtracks are ballonish the dirtdevels are not .
