I just got a 09 king quad 500 with powersteering last friday. Before anyone says anything i wanted to get a big bear 400 so bad but the financing for a yamaha is 11.99 and i just couldnt bear to pay that much interest. I got the king quad 500, fuel injected, liquid cooled, power steering, camo for 5,600 out the door for 1.99% interest so i couldnt pass the deal up.
Now to the good stuff. This thing has way more power than i would have ever thought. i got the thumb limiter set at half way till i get it good and broke in and even at half throttle this thing hits 52mph, not bad for a 700 pound 4x4 at half throttle. What i really like about it is that it has a locking front differential and I.R.S.
After this gets broke end good im gonna get my dad to drag race me on my raptor 350 for ***** and giggles and to be honest the king quad will probably win. It has crazy midrange power and from a stand start in high gear it pulls wheelies with surprising ease. All in all i would have like to get the big bear but in the end it would have cost me almost a lil over 2 grand more for the bear after interest.
I can honestly say I very happy with the suzuki and hope it stands up to the reliabilty of the raptor.
